My Answer to The John's Question
I think technology prevents someone from communicating. I also think it develops too much today. I really feel that when I see my mother struggles with conveniences. She is the very person who can't accept the new things, in short, she is analog. She can't(maybe isn't good at)handle technology such as "Chidegi"television, cellphone,or personal computer. She always says "I can't any more!" Although whenever I see that I laugh at her(of course I shouldn't do that), it is very serious problem for her. It doesn't matter for me that technology spreads around me, because I can mostly cope with the trable wich is occurred by it. Surrounded the conveniences, she looks very tired. My grand mother also says "I can't catch up with your deed(or words)." Thanks to that, We can't continue to our conversation friquently. For the generation which doesn't go through and isn't accustomed to high technology, they are absolutely helpless against them. They often say they have no room to take new knowledges. It is estimated the speed of the tecnology being used generally is faster than that of ten years ago by some authorities. Times shifts to new thing continuously and one of these days my mother or grand mother's generations disappear, but now, there are people who suffer from the development of technology. We must consider the environment all of the people feel comfortable.

Something To Do With Globalization

I'm so affected with Disney. It comes from America, but I'm blessed with its fascinate although I'm in Japan. And that's not all, a lot of people now are enchanted by it all over the world. It is a good glovalization, I think. The magic of Disney have been making them fascinated. Thanks to development of mediums of mass communication such as television or newspapers or the Internet, we can shere the blessing of Walt Disney with all over the people. In this summer, I read "The sacred place named Disneyland." It was written by Notoji Masako who is a proffesor of Tokyo University. She specializes in American cultures. It says how Disney influences the people's mind, how the American recall nostalgia from it, and so on. By reading it I was able to understand the consciousness of the American. It was fun for me. I think it is one of the important prosesses for globarization. To know different culture caltivates my vision or way of thinking. I can know who I am, or what I'm interested in. It leads to build myself up, I think. Therefore, I 'm for the glovalization.
